The quest the quartermaster gave you to unlock item filters had never been accepted prior to the completion of the mayor's town advancement. When the mayor advanced the town level, the quartermaster had a new quest, this bumped the old quest behind, and you accepted the new quest with no hope of completing without access to item filters. The old quest, to unlock item filters, was available all the time, but never accepted. If a person in town is displaying a yellow diamond with a "!", they have a quest that has not been accepted. this is visible in regular, and map view, "M". I had something similar happen to me with divine researcher in an earlier run. The developers oughta fix it so the order of quest giving doesn't get shuffled like this, frankly, :shrug: P.S. Try hitting "V" in map view. P.P.S. space bar + right click = recall sparks, Long press for mass recall. P.P.P.S. just if any of these things remain unclear. GL

@ 10:00 When you're trying to put the stairs on the foundation going down. If you hold Alt I think it is, it will move to the bottom and place where you wanted it to go. It tells you the keybind on the bottom right when you have the blueprint out. I think its the 'Change Building Mode' that moves it.
